Privacy Policy

1. Who we are and what this policy covers

Woseps is an iOS application provided by Enes Sakut in Türkiye. This policy covers the app, the woseps.app website, and support communications. “We”, “us”, and “our” refer to the developer.

2. Your videos, audio, and text

You choose the media the app can access. Video editing, project storage, caption styling, playback, and final video composition take place on your device. Cloud features send the audio or text needed for the processing you request; Woseps is not an entirely offline app.

3. App identity, purchases, and service records

The app establishes an app-scoped anonymous account identifier through Supabase. That identifier is also used with RevenueCat to check paid access. Anonymous here means no name or email is required for this account; it does not mean that all service records are unidentifiable.

Apple and RevenueCat process transaction, purchase, and subscription information to enable purchases, renewals, and restoration. We do not receive your full payment-card details.

Our backend processes job identifiers, processing status and results, usage and quota records, subscription access checks, and technical request information to operate cloud features, resume work, and prevent misuse. Depending on the feature, stored job results can include transcripts, translations, generated scripts, or references to generated audio.

4. Analytics and crash diagnostics

We use Firebase Analytics for product usage in verified App Store production installations. Events can include screens, screen duration, feature actions, processing outcomes, purchase and restore events, and limited device or app information. Firebase may associate events with an app-instance identifier. Product analytics is disabled in TestFlight, development, simulator, and unresolved environments.

Firebase Crashlytics collects crash and non-fatal error diagnostics, including stack traces, app and device details, screen context, and normalized error information. Crash reporting and operational backend logs are separate from product analytics.

We configure app analytics events and crash-report custom values to exclude video files, media URLs, caption or transcript text, translation text, and payment details. Cloud processing described above is separate from analytics.

5. Permissions and your choices

Photo Library permissions allow you to select media and save exports. Camera and Microphone permissions allow recording with the teleprompter when you use that feature. You can change permissions in iOS Settings. Revoking permission can limit importing, recording, or saving; it does not delete previously exported files.

6. Why we process information

We use information to provide the features you request, store and reopen projects, operate cloud jobs, verify subscriptions, enforce usage limits, maintain security, measure reliability, diagnose errors, respond to support requests, and meet legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information. The app does not include third-party advertising, and we do not use your videos or captions to train our own machine-learning models. Service providers handle information under their applicable service terms and privacy arrangements.

7. Service providers and international processing

Apple provides the App Store, purchases, device permissions, and platform services. RevenueCat supports subscription management. Supabase provides account, database, storage, and backend services. Google Cloud provides infrastructure for transcription and denoise, Cloud Translation, and speech generation. Google Firebase provides analytics and crash diagnostics. AI Script uses a configured third-party text-generation service.

Cloudflare hosts and protects this website. Email support is handled through our email service providers; messages sent to our support address may be routed to the developer’s support inbox.

Providers may process information outside your country, including in the United States and other locations where they operate. Applicable contractual and legal safeguards depend on the provider and processing involved.

8. Website visits and support messages

The website’s own code does not add advertising trackers, analytics tags, cookies, or browser storage for language preferences. Cloudflare may use necessary security cookies when its protection features are triggered. Language links navigate to the language you select. Videos and fonts are hosted with the site; there is no media-upload or contact form. Visiting this website does not give it access to the videos or projects stored in your app. Hosting and security services may process standard request details such as IP address, browser information, requested page, and request time to deliver and protect the site.

If you email us, we process your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send to answer your request. Please do not send private videos, payment details, or sensitive transcript content in your first message.

9. Retention and deletion

Local projects and preferences stay on your device until you delete them, clear app data, or uninstall the app. Exported files can remain in Photos or other destinations until you delete them there.

Cloud processing uses temporary media storage and cleanup routines after completion, cancellation, failure, or expiry. Cleanup timing varies by feature and may be delayed by a failed deletion or retry. Job records, text results, usage records, security logs, and transaction records are distinct from temporary media and may be retained as needed to operate the service, resolve issues, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.

Apple, RevenueCat, Google, and other providers apply their own service retention controls. Removing the app stops activity from that installation but does not automatically delete cloud records or cancel a subscription. Contact us about identifiable backend, subscription, or diagnostic data; we may need information to verify and locate the relevant records.

10. Privacy requests and security

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing, request portability, withdraw consent, or complain to a data-protection authority. Contact the developer to make a request.

We may not hold content that exists only on your device. We will explain relevant device controls and assist with records we can reasonably identify, subject to applicable requirements.

We use platform security controls, authenticated backend access, and restricted temporary media access. No electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

11. Children and policy changes

Woseps is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the service, contact us so we can address it.

We may update this policy as the app, providers, or applicable requirements change. The updated date identifies this revision.
